Welcome

As if I don’t have enough to do I thought I would add a blog to my list. I truly think it’s a good idea. Mostly because I can give my thoughts, progress and plain and simple vents here hehe. I’ve been working really hard on my books lately and so far it seems to be going well. I’ve filled my plate with many new things lately, I think its an effort to keep my mind off my aches and pains that go along with my health condition. It does seem to work.

A year ago I decided I wanted to be a romance author, after finishing a romance novel by Julia Quinn. I’ve attempted novels before but they never seemed to go past the first paragraph. To date, my first true attempt is currently at chapter twenty-two, after many problem areas (if your interested in knowing more please see my website http://www.havenrich.com/library.html).

As a friend recommended a site for writers like me I’ve entered a type of self-help contest, my goal is to write 50,000 words in the month of March. So far I’m peeking at 22,000(as of this moment). But in order to keep a better track of word count I decided to start my second book (which happens to be the 2nd book in my *hopeful* trilogy).

On top of writing, I entered a *Site Fight*, where I try to gain people’s votes for my site. It involves cheering and many other things. I kinda bit off more than I could chew but now that I’m getting a little more use to it, it seems to flow better. Before this, I had a wild notion to start a web group. This really isnt too much trouble, I had pre-warned everyone that I wouldn’t be posting much lol. I do, however, have a group member that loves to post, she shares some of the most interesting things that I’m too lazy to find myself haha.

For awhile now I’ve had a message board, mostly so my sister and I could post to eachother and what-not but I made it where anyone who wants to can post there on just about any topic. It’s not a busy message board but I enjoy it. I’m hoping one day after I’m a published author there will be many posters. *Truly hoping for a fan message board feel*.

So this is pretty much what I have going on in my life right now. It’s mostly online but then again I dont go out much. Hope anyone and everyone that reads this has a wonderful day.
