Thirteen Things about Things Kittens Do

Many of you might know that I’m the slave to several cats, but only recently did we bring home a new kitten. Paige is about 9 weeks old now and boy is she a handful!! So I thought as a way to introduce her I’d use Paige as my very first Thursday Thirteen.

  1. Kittens are VERY hyper!
  2. They think they are great typist.
  3. They are fearless.
  4. They do that cute crab walk.
  5. Kittens are often more lovable.
  6. They can take a room from clean to disaster area in less than 6 seconds.
  7. Anything and everything can be amusing to them.
  8. Most people go “Awww” when seeing them.
  9. They remind you of children in their terrible twos.
  10. They often haven’t learned that not everything requires nails.
  11. Kittens have the cutest, saddest little meows.
  12. You still think their attacking your feet is cute.
  13. They will have you wrapped tightly around their paw and thus their slave for ever.

Now tell me, if you’d see that little cute, sad looking face would you have been able to say no? I didn’t think so!Her story: I had been asked to take my uncle and drop him off somewhere. Not use to my mom’s big truck, I told him to drive up there and I’d drive home. Well we pull into the parking lot as normal and he got out so I could hope into the drivers seat. Well, just as I fastened my seat belt my uncle knocked on the passenger side window and held up a kitten.My heart flipped. It hasn’t been that long ago that we lost Demon Child and I inwardly debated on if it was too soon to get a new kitten. Of course there was no way I was going to leave this itty-bitty kitten in the middle of the parking lot to get ran over. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! So I took the little fuzz-ball home and called my husband. He being a big cat lover like I am, he said I could bring Paige home. Yay! New baby in the family! And so that is her story.

    So sweet! We have a new kitten in our house, Little Miss Bella Wigglebottom. (Long story on the name.) But she’s a little hell-raiser and I swear, she follows our older cat around while in her head she’s singing, “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.”

    What a cute kitty! We have a puppy, so kitties are not an option in my house, plus my husband is allergic.

    Oh Julianne, we have a whole zoo here at our house, including dogs and a snake. So we keep everyone in order and all is well. Thankfully the inside dogs get along with the cats (one of the dogs is so scared of the cats, he hides lol).

    Gina, I so know about kittens and their attitudes. Our Brat Pack are what we call Amy Children (think Children of the Korn lol). They were so sweet when they were born and we just couldn’t give them away, so we have a whole herd of kittens (now 3 y/o).

    In all we have 7 cats, 3 dogs and one snake. Again, zoo!

    What an adorable kitten! I’d like to have one, however, I don’t think my 20 year old queen of the house cat would enjoy that!
