Thirteen Things about Thanksgiving

Things that make Thanksgiving wonderful!

  1. The turkey!
  2. Having the day off
  3. All the pies
  4. Being with family
  5. Cranberry sauce
  6. Did I mention the deserts? (btw pies don’t count)
  7. The change of the season
  8. The cool weather.
  9. Sadly, over-eating!
  10. Teasing the husband over his cooking skills.
  11. Knowing Christmas isn’t that far away.
  12. Catching up on old times.
  13. Knowing why you are thankful and not needing a holiday to remember it.

    Thanksgiving is both a blessing and a curse because we always have both sides of the family over. Fun but very tiring. At least I got the day off work, though !

    Mine has been pretty quiet except for cooking. Just us this year, no extra excitement involved, I hope.
