This Last Week

Has been one busy devil.

We’ve painted, put new carpet, cleaned and so much more… And you know what? I’m tired.

Currently we have been having a “moving sale” to help rid ourselves of this-n-that. So far it’s going pretty well, but we still have a few “big items” that need to go. Like who knew it would be really hard to sell a never-worn wedding dress. I’ve always heard that June is the month of weddings so why am I not finding these women in need of gowns lol. I did talk my husband into putting his ‘73 Cougar up for sell. Which for me is a huge thing, since I really don’t like that car. My dislike for the car is a bit of a long story, so I’ll save that one for later.

On the up side of this week, I’ve seen some good movies:
Nanny McPhee (great movie btw)
Rumor Has It
Memoirs Of A Geisha
Chronicles Of Narnia
Tristan And Isolde
Fun With Dick And Jane
Casanova
Last Holiday

Of these I highly recommend Nanny McPhee, Chronicles Of Narnia, Last Holiday and Casanova. Not to be unfair to the others, they were good but I really enjoyed the one’s I just mentioned. BTW can I have Nanny McPhee’s cane for cleaning house??

Tomorrow I’m going to watch The Family Stone

Hope everyone has had a good week. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommy-types out there.

The new blog looks great! I just got Last Holiday from netflix myself - looking forward to that. Wasn’t thrilled with Dick & Jane though have to say. Good luck finding a home for the wedding gown!

    Hi Debora,

I finished watching The Family Stone and have to say it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. Oh well I was entertained.

Thank you for the good luck.

Hope you have a great day.
