The Many Phases Of Crazy

Well, first let me tell you that I’m not crazy. Honest! My shrink will agree with me here.

I run two blogs, this personal one and a group blog called Romantically Inclined and we just had our first guest blogger, author Shane Bolks. The night before she was to begin posting I had all sorts of things going through my head. What if she can’t post? What if she forgets the date? What if everyone hates it?

It was like that nightmare some have about going into school nude. Thank goodness I don’t actually have to see anyone face to face from my desk chair. But all the worries where there. Then the next morning I go and check…*wipe sweat away* all went perfectly. No trouble posting, she didn’t forget and the amount of replies didn’t give any hints of anyone hating it.

Now our site is suppose to have many more guest bloggers but I’m wondering if I will have this feeling with each one of them. If so I had better either take up drinking as a habit or find a shrink to get me some good happy pills.

Of course, you could also look at this from the point of view of a parent. No honestly I’m not crazy. If you have children, you know the worries of daily life. Well, as the parent of these sites I worry that something might go wrong. Scary thought!!

Now that all went well during this past week I now have other things to worry about. I also do author interviews and am working on a few of them (sorry I can’t say who right now, that would foil the fun). But for the moment I’m taking a huge deep breath and going to relax…until next time.

Quote: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

Reading: The Star Witch..sorry can’t recall the author.

Haven, you did wonderful this past week. I heard from people who visited our blog and loved the topics Shane Bolks posted. I was a little nervous after Shane reported she had been ill at the beginning of the week, but it sounds like she’s doing well now.

Again a million thanks for bringing Shane Bolks as a guest blogger. And for all the work you put into Romantically Inclined.

Glad everything went well! But I do understand the obsessing - I obsess over everything.

Thank you but its one of those things I do with many exciting things. Just like I’m already getting nervous about Jenna Petersen coming to visit next week. I’ve interviewed her in the past and she’s amazing. Truly there should be no worries but guess what…there is lol.
