The Battlelines Have Been Drawn..

Thats right. Its war!!

No I didn’t find one of the best shoe places having a wonderful sale. Hmm remind me to check though.

What I’m talking about is the hubby, just for the record I’m not angry with him.

My hubby is great at cooking…matter fact I have recommended that he go to school and then be a great cheif(sp) and run his own place…thats how good.

Ok now whats really going on:
This past weekend hubby made some banana bread, which I love. Four loafs, one for me, two for his dad and one to take to work. So he takes this great stuff, which sometimes is worth more than money, to work. They LOVE it. No wonder, my hubby is great at making the stuff. Anyhow at work everyone else that didn’t get any is now making comments as to where their bread is. I’m thinking its at the store and they can buy it themselves. (huge note: hubby does not buy it and then take it in…ohhh no he makes it homemade) So to be nice he buys more stuff to make everyone at work some bread.

Here is the battleline people. He’s my hubby I married him for his talents in cooking ( ok seriously I married him cause I didn’t have anything better to do…this is almost true lol).

These people he works with are taking up my hubby’s time when it should be my time…that is my bread haha. I’m the only one suppose to take advantage of him like this. I’m the one who deals with his bad moods, his mom and still find it in my heart to love him. ACKS! What are these people trying to do??

Well I came to the firm thinking that along with the hubby’s mother, these people are taking advantage of my husbands great gift in the kitchen…no not doing the dishes although hes good at that too. I think if the husband is going to spread his charm(cooking ablities) with everyone they should pay him for his time. Not because I’m greedy or anything but dang-it I give the hubby great loves for his wonderous bread. I suck-up big time for this stuff. What type of “thank you” will they give him?? I haven’t a clue as the took the bread to work today and we shall see.

Now that I’ve vented that the husband is MINE! MINE! ALL MINE! I will relax but dang-it they wont find out how good he is at making homemade cheesecake…homemade not no-bake stuffs they sell at the store. That is one thing I wont let him tell anyone…they would really annoy him with begging if they knew that haha.

So here is my advice…if your spouse is really good at something that you enjoy DO NOT let anyone else find out. They will try to steal them away and use them as their own slaves. And just for the record that is so wrong.

Reading: Lisa Kleypas…still…but I’m almost finished and its a really great book..dont want to miss anything.

Quote of the day: “Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine” ..ok its not really the quote of the day but hey it was on the movie Finding Nemo and I think it fits the story.

Hmmm, I agree with you Haven. I feel badly for your DH. He sounds like he is very generous with his time and his culinary creations. Definitely don’t tell anyone else he makes a killer cheesecake otherwise who knows what these people might do! Speaking of banana bread, I’m craving it now so tomorrow before going to work I will stop by my local bakery and get some!

I hope you enjoy your banana bread. Next I’m going to have you drooling over snickerdoodles hehe.

As Lisa’s book goes I’m almost finished. Its really good so far but then I’ve loved all her books I’ve read so far. Great author and sweet in person too.
