Moving Details:

As some of you might know we will be moving soon.
Now some would be excited about moving but I’m a reluctant mover. I’m sorta ok once I’m all settled in but its the pre-move when I get cranky, moody and down right b*tchy.
Right now the house is being worked on to get a few last minute details finished. Like new carpet, tile and all sorts of other junk. Thankfully we aren’t actually doing all this work ourselves. The father-in-law hired someone but that doesn’t mean we are getting off easy here.
Oh no!! It couldn’t be that easy. We have to clean these rooms out for the workers to get to. This means all my mother-in-laws “stuff”(I’ll be nice) has to be moved. I swear if we were to sell her things we’d need a flea-market to get the job done. I know people collect stuff but good gravy, she collects everything!!
Anyhow, we cleared out two rooms for the guys to work on and whew, I’m tired.
Yesterday, I planted some new shrubs around the pool to inhance the look of the yard. I think they look really nice…mainly because I did it all by myself (no I’m not two and needed patted on the head lol). However, while planting these shrubs I was attacked by ants. I didn’t see the lil suckers until I started getting that burning feeling on ankles. So, today I’m all itchy. My feet are swollen because of all the bits, I swear they grouped up and attacked all at once.
Oh well, the plants look good.
Last night I was very busy getting a few design things done for friends. I worked on my private website a bit..hoping to get it up and running again soon. Plus the updates for Romantically Inclined. Ok I’m ready for a nap now…maybe I am two years old haha.
Hope everyone has a good one and I’ll be sure to keep you updated on my moving *clears throat* adventure.

Wow, Haven the whole moving er, adventure sounds overwhelming. Gosh, and I thought I had a difficult week. I do appreciate everything you’ve done for me and for RI of course.

The FuFus are doing wonderful. They no longer drink from the bottle and have taken really well to the stuff we bought them. It’s getting close to time for us to release them, which is exciting and sad.
On one hand, I’m proud that they’ve lived this long and are ready to go back to the wild but on the other I’m sad because they are just soo cute I want to keep them for pets. Of course I know the last can’t happen, since they no longer like me to touch them, which is good since they are wild.
Isabel, the end of this week has been really rough with trying to keep things in order so thank you…I’m glad you like the thing’s I’ve worked so hard on. Now if I could just talk the weather into behaving for a bit so I can get a few more things done I’ll be good lol.
Have a good one,
Haven

Haven, hang in there. Moving is such a hassle. I love having a new place that’s all neat and looks the way I want it, but I hate the actual moving to that place, the packing, the organising, the cleaning… *shivers*
Just keep the end goal in mind, maybe that’ll make it easier. (Or at least you can try to convince yourself it will *lol*)
In any case, I’m sure it’ll all be great once it’s all over with
And of course we appreciate what you do for RI. You’re the one who keeps us all going
